The Rut

Corey and I went out one night last week to listen to the Elk bugle …….it was quite  the show…….hundreds

of elk on a large private ranch, put on a great show every Fall during the rut.  They post up on the ridges above

the alfalfa fields and come down just at dark to feed all night.  Unfortunately this night they stayed further away

than usual so the lens on my camera was straining with the fading light and the distance, but I wanted to share

them anyway with you.
